Born and raised in Bergen County, Camille Abate is a dedicated wife, mother, civil rights attorney and loyal Democrat. Camille has the experience to preserve our Constitution and values for future generations.

Camille began her law career in 1982, refusing the lucrative offers of corporate law and accepting a low paying job with the Legal Aid Society instead. Camille gave a voice to the middle class, working poor and disenfranchised in our community. Camille has devoted her legal career to fighting for the rights of all Americans.

Dedicated to the Democratic Party, Camille has over 17 years of experience serving in leadership roles on campaigns from Mario Cuomo for Governor to Dean for America. Camille will bring her experience and passion to the fight against right wing Republican Scott Garrett.
